Surgery

so at 545 i registered at the hospital they took me back and let me change into that beautiful gown. my nurse started my ivy but my vain collapsed so she had to try again. then the anesthesiologist came in and put stuff in my ivy and these 2 nurses not super nice came in and said you're goin to come with us. i said bye to my family and started crying. i remember goin into the elevator and that was it. ----SURGERY TIME--- then i woke up in the post op room balling. I just remember crying forever and telling the nurse i need a hug and she said my family couldn't come see me. so i cried more than i said it again i need a hug and she gave me a hug. Then my nurses Yvonne and Seth came and got me and took me to my room. I was hooked up to a lot of machines. One on my arm for blood pressure, the little thing on my finger, a machine on my not operated leg that circulated blood and my ivy. Yvonne started feeding me applesauce and Seth fed me water and graham crackers. then i took a little nap but the one machine tracked my breathing and i breath very shallow when i sleep and so it would wake me up BEEP BEEP BEEP very loud. Seth would run in and rehearse deep breaths with me and i would go back to sleep and it would happen again and Seth would run in again rehearsing breathing. The 3 time it happened i said "How can anyone sleep around here!" the one time Yvonne came in and stared at me for a while trying to see if my chest would rise and fall but it never did so she put her hand on my chest to see if i was breathing, she thought i was dead. So they hooked me up to an oxygen machine. the one time my brother was with me and i was tryin to eat a cracker and i would get enough energy to get it to my mouth and fall asleep then wake up and take a bite and fall asleep then when i woke up the one time i said "I forgot to chew it." lol so my brother thought me and crackers was funny. the next morning physical therapy came and then i was checked out and Seth pushed me out to the car. On our way home I threw up. Oh and can't forget the million times i had to go pee while there and had to call the nurses to help me get to the bathroom.

--ill post pictures asap when i get them from my sister--

sounds scary- i had to be in the hospital for a kidney biopsy last summer and it wasn't fun either! you're lucky you only had to stay one night though. hope you recover quickly!
